The Hanback Group is an employee benefits, enrollment and human resources consulting company located in Brentwood, TN. We provide our clients the tools and long-term strategies needed to manage and control benefit costs while maintaining employee satisfaction. We work closely with each employer to develop benefit programs based on the company’s business philosophy in order to maintain a competitive presence in recruiting and retaining employees. In addition, our team serves as an extension of our clients’ human resource department (co-sourcing), standing ready to assist with the implementation and day-to-day operation of their benefit plans.
Our staff
Stephanie Ditenhafer's, Human Resources Consultant, experience includes designing employee satisfaction surveys, updating and creating employee manuals, writing employee communication pieces, creating performance evaluation systems, implementing recruitment procedures and organizing employee appreciation events.
Stephanie is a graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges and earned an M.B.A. from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt in 2000. Stephanie is certified as an SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources)
Barb Shaffer, Senior Account Manager, joined The Hanback Group in 2007 and has over 30+ years of experience in TPA administration and client management. In addition to special client projects, Barb's primary responsibilities are account management, including contract renewals, seeking resolution to member claims and eligibility issues, financial analysis, and liaison between clients and their carriers for all service issues.
Barb is certified by the Health Insurance Association of America as a Manager of Healthcare Professional and Health Insurance Associate and is a graduate of Michigan State University.
Brittany Hanback , Account Specialist, brings over 15 years of experience from her educational, administrative and merchandising background. Brittany serves our small groups and individual clients' needs, including life, disability and long term care. She is a graduate of Memphis State University with a degree in Merchandising and Masters in Education. Brittany is also a community volunteer with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
Jennifer Herman , Account Specialist, will serve as an individual insurance specialist and provide group insurance customer service. She most recently was with Zeitlin & Co. Realtors. Her community service includes volunteering with the Nassau Human Society, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and working with organizations serving senior citizens and children. Herman attended Columbia College in Columbia, Mo.
